Amanda landed at Hearty Roots as a part-time office manager because she wants to ensure every kid has the opportunity to be inspired by the beauty around them. She aims to keep all things administrative running smoothly while supporting the organization’s mission to enhance children’s mental health through outdoor adventures. 

Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling, Amanda is excited to begin her internship with Hearty Roots in 2025, blending her office management experience with her academic background. Hailing from Southern California, Amanda and her family came to Maine to connect better with nature and community. Outside the office, when she isn't writing papers, you can find her walking her dog in town, having coffee with her amazing friends, laughing with her husband, and hugging her son as often as he'll let her.
