Halie is an educator who deeply believes in the power of connection, creativity, and emotional support in helping children thrive. With over 10 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings—from inner-city programs to pediatric oncology nonprofits and local school systems—Halie has worked with students ranging from pre-kindergarten to high school, always striving to meet each child where they are emotionally and academically.

With a degree in Psychology from Cal Poly Humboldt, Halie brings both expertise and heart to her work. She understands that every child’s journey is unique and makes it her priority to create a safe and nurturing space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves, taking risks, and overcoming their challenges. Halie’s approach is rooted in fostering resilience and confidence, helping children feel empowered to grow.

A lover of nature, art, and writing, Halie weaves these passions into her work, using creative outlets as tools for healing and self-expression. Whether guiding students through an art project or encouraging them to reflect through writing, she taps into the restorative power of creativity and the outdoors.

Originally from California, Halie moved to Maine two years ago, drawn to its natural beauty and outdoor opportunities. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running, and spending time outside with her dog, finding joy in the same grounding experiences she shares with her students.

At her core, Halie is driven by a desire to help children feel seen, supported, and capable of achieving their full potential—both in the classroom and beyond.
