Theraputic adventure mentor

Lauren’s love for the outdoors began at a young age as she was fortunate enough to be raised in this very community, spending hours in the woods of her backyard with her sister. Connecting people to nature and learning to slow down in a world that is often telling us the opposite has become a goal for her with the time she spends with youth. She works diligently to build relationships with kids and holds space for talking about challenges and areas of growth. Lauren earned her Masters in Social Work while living in Boston and, through the years, spent time running groups and conducting individual therapeutic check-ins with adults in a dual diagnosis day treatment program, working with teens in state custody at a homeless shelter, and supporting kids in a school setting. She became conditionally licensed as a social worker in Maine in September 2023 with the intention of becoming fully licensed as an LCSW in fall 2025. Lauren thrives on meaningful connections, instilling hope and strengthening bonds with others in a time of need, staying active and present, and laughing at herself. When Lauren is not at work, you can often find her sipping a matcha, cold plunging in a body of water, or tending to her 50+ plant babies.
