Scholarships & Stability: You allow us to say “yes” to every family. By funding our sliding-fee scale, you guarantee equitable access to the entire Hearty Roots experience—from childhood day camps to teen vocational internships.

Therapeutic Mentorship: You fund clinical-level social work that happens next to a crackling campfire. Your gift helps local youth navigate trauma and build resilience through therapeutic, outdoor-based care.

Where It's Needed Most

Reliable Transportation: You bridge the gap for kids who can't get to the trailhead. Your donation helps to put gas in the van and a driver behind the wheel, ensuring the wilderness is accessible regardless of a family’s zip code.

Essential Gear: Your donation provides rugged boots, weather-ready layers, and the right equipment—whether they’re on snowshoes or paddleboards—to stay safe and adventurous in every season.

Building Infrastructure

2026 Priorities: This year, we aim to build out essential infrastructure on our campus grounds to ensure safety and accessibilty for year-round adventures. Phase 2 development includes:

  • Gear & Equipment Shed

  • Timber Cabin

  • Welcome Center Barn

  • UA Trail
