Hearty Roots pop-up adventures are designed for kids to be kids — to explore, play, connect, and enjoy time outside with peers and trusted mentors.

In february, Let’s explore all the ways we can have fun in the winter! Join Hearty Roots mentors erin and tali for three days of play in the snow. Adventurers will be invited to join each other in shelter building, FIRE BUILDING, WINTER HIKING, journaling, reflection, AND MORE!

Date: Tuesday, February 20 - Thursday, February 22

Time: 9:00am-2:00pm daily

Adventurers: All kids ages 9-12

If your adventurer’s age falls outside of this age range but they are excited to join us for this program please email Jess at jess@heartyroots.org.

Pack List: Warm jacket, snow pants, warm layers, base layer, two pairs of socks, extra clothes, winter gloves and hat (plus extra), boots, snack and lunch, water bottle, mug, and if your adventurer is a journaler we encourage them to bring their own.

What’s Provided: Warm drinks and hand warmers.

Payment: $180

Scholarships: It is important to us at Hearty Roots that our unique and effective programming remains accessible and affordable for local families, so scholarships are available for our programs. The available scholarships for this Pop-up have been given.
